Abstract

This paper attempts to discuss the management, marketing, strategies and other variables in terms of Wal – Marts entry into South Africa. It therefore discusses the international trade processes, a host of competing issues and the implications for the company, as a business entity in a democratic South Africa, post 1994. In this regard the paper attempts to establish a momentum for business management and the application of business principles, in order to consolidate Wal – Marts entry into s developing economy in Africa.
