Abstract

The aim of the present study explores the Perception of Research & Development among Carpet Entrepreneurs in the city of Isfahan. This research is applied research and qualitative methods were used in data analysis. The research instrument was interviewed. The research communities were hand-made carpet manufacturers among them as much as saturated with 20 Carpet Industry entrepreneurs were interviewed. The findings of the study showed that research and development at three levels: performance marketing, operational performance and customer satisfaction, transition effects. Use of research and development in the industry of carpets in the operational functioning of supply and support process improvement are causing, improvements to the production process (design and texture). In the marketing function, speed is an important factor. As well as customer satisfaction was assessed on three levels.
