Repository Policy

The Arabian Journal of Business and Management Review is a fully Open Access journal, committed to the broad dissemination of scholarly research.

1. Self-Archiving & Institutional Repositories

   • Authors are encouraged to deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, subject-based repositories, personal websites, and academic social networks to enhance research visibility.
   • Articles published in AJBMR are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, allowing unrestricted sharing and reuse with proper attribution.
   • When depositing their work, authors must always provide full citation details and a link to the official published version (DOI/URL).

2. Preprint & Postprint (Author’s Accepted Manuscript - AAM) Policy

   • Preprints: Authors should not post pre-submission or preprint versions in repositories or public domains before or during the submission process.
   • Postprints (AAMs): Authors may deposit the accepted manuscript (AAM) version in a repository immediately after acceptance, provided it includes a link to the final published version.
   • Final Published Version (Version of Record - VoR): Authors are permitted to post the PDF version of the final published article in repositories without embargo after publication.

3. Attribution & Citation

   • Any deposited or shared version must include:
     ✅ A full citation to the original publication in IJAR.
     ✅ A link to the final published version (DOI/URL).
     ✅ The statement: "This article was originally published in the Arabian Journal of Business and Management Review and is licensed under CC BY 4.0."

4. Encouraging Citations & Impact Assessment

   • To maximise research impact, authors should ensure their deposited work includes a direct link to the official published version, facilitating accurate citation tracking.
   • Authors are encouraged to use ORCID, ResearchGate, Google Scholar, and institutional repositories for greater research visibility.
